Greenhouse Inspiration

I’ve been busy in the greenhouse over at the Gardening Junky Shop. We have been converting an old greenhouse from a full functioning growing facility, into a green space for displaying our garden goods. We are still growing plants, just not on a large scale like a full-blown greenhouse.

Now that we are almost done with all the grunt-work, I have been collecting photos for greenhouse inspiration over on my Pinterest Boards.  Take a look at a few and let me know which ones you like.

I really like the bright turquise paint on the edge boards of the flower racks. Since those are the the colors in my shop, I have decided to paint mine this color also.  We have already put in some pavers for walkways that I just love.

I like the little bistro seating they have going on in this space. I also like the tall shelves and all the plants in terra cotta pots. I am just getting started so it will take me a while to get to this point.

I really like this dining room setting in the greenhouse. The white table emphasizes the white in the greenhouse windows. Simple and beautiful. I also love the chandelier!

Another chandelier.  This one is in an outdoor space, but I like it – it has a bit of spunk to it!

I’m a sucker for old tables and chairs! This display table is charming. I really like the old white cabinets here too.

Another old table and chair setting in the greenhouse. I like all the climbing vines. I’m thinking about planting some Hops in my greenhouse.

I’m quite certain I won’t be putting in any sleeping arrangements in my greenhouse – but who wouldn’t love this!

So – which ones do you like?  If you have greenhouse inspiration photos on Pinterest please let me know in the comments below.  I’d love to check them out!

Thanks Patti! I am certainly enjoying it. It is so wonderful to just walk into the greenhouse and stand there and take a deep breath. Aaahhh….

  2. Gorgeous and so dreamy! I bet after all your hard work you really need something this beautiful to focus on… and dream about.

I’m a real fan of the rustic and the re-used, too. Tables, chairs, old boots, galvanized, clay pots… the whole thing. The juxtaposition of chandeliers with the rustic setting is really cool, too.

As I travel around the web, I’ll be sure to share pictures of things I think would be inspirational. Have fun and enjoy this labor of love!
